Yesterday, I was given a complementary ticket to visit the #London #Art #Fair which I was naturally very excited about. Whilst I had visited in previous years without seeing any alternative photography, this seem to have been the best year yet with walls adorned with #Photograms by #Adam #Fuss, represented by the #Robin #Katz #Fine #art #gallery and #Susan #Derges represented by #Purdy #Hicks gallery. Both artist featured in the the #VAM: #Shadow #Catches #exhibition in 2010/2011. Also #tinted #ambrotypes and #decaying #emulsion negatives by #Tessa #Traeger also represented by #Purdy #Hicks gallery. Some beautiful #Cyanotypes by #Henriette #Mollinaro, #Tintypes #collodion #plates by #David #Gillanders and finally a series of #pinhole #photography by #Antonia #Bruce entitled #Horse #Latitudes. So if your as passionate about alternative photography as me this is definitely the year to go to the #London #Art #Fair. Natalie x This negative is from one of the first roll of film I ever shoot. It was backstage at my friend Makeda's gig. Hand treated paper.
![]() So your probably thinking where are these Cyanotype images.....Well at the end of last year's mission, my equipment was getting rather dirty from all the non-stop paper developing I was doing. Plus, the space in my "darkroom" needed a re-jig for this new project. So in short my cyanotypes are on their way..... |
